A little bit about me....

I am a textile artist, originally from Birmingham, and now living by the sea on the Wirral peninsula, in the North West of England; along with my husband Chris, and our 2 daughters.

I studied Textile Design at De Montfort University and graduated in 2001 - our move to the coast in 2009 encouraged me to explore a more creative way of working, to fit in with being a stay at home mum, and I'm very lucky to have been supported on this journey by loyal returning customers; as well as, the support of fellow local creatives.

My designs reflect my love of bright colour, texture, fabric, and applique -  I am currently experimenting with mixing fabrics and papers to plot out the bare bones of my designs, then everything is stitched into place using the sewing machine that my parents bought for me 20 years ago!

Chris takes care of the technical side of things (like getting my designs onto a computer template and off to the printers) - leaving me free to just have fun creating at my sewing machine, which is definitely my happy place!
